A new experience for the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF)'s scientific output portal

The new portal responds to the need to move towards more efficient digital environments, where scientific information is not only available, but easily accessible, understandable and reusable.

To this end, the navigation structure and search experience have been rethought, enabling more agile access to publications, projects and scientific collaborations. This improvement is not limited to the design — it directly impacts the way users interact with the information.

The platform relies on a centralized repository model that integrates all research activity in a single environment, avoiding duplication and guaranteeing data quality. This approach makes it possible to collect information only once and reuse it in multiple contexts, optimizing data management and value.

In addition, the portal strengthens the visibility of research and of researchers themselves, acting as a public access point to the knowledge generated and as a connection tool between groups, institutions and external agents.

The development is built on SIGMA's technological infrastructure and on established standards in the field of research management, ensuring a robust, interoperable platform that is ready to evolve.
