A new experience for UPF's scientific production portal

The new portal responds to the need to move towards more efficient digital environments, where scientific information is not only available, but easily accessible, understandable and reusable.

To this end, the navigation structure and search experience have been rethought, allowing more agile access to publications, projects and scientific collaborations. This improvement is not limited to design, but directly impacts the way users interact with information.

The platform relies on a centralized repository model that integrates all research activity in a single environment, avoiding duplications and guaranteeing data quality. This approach allows information to be collected once and reused in multiple contexts, optimizing management and data value.

Additionally, the portal reinforces the visibility of research and researchers themselves, acting as a public access point to generated knowledge and as a connection tool between groups, institutions and external agents.

The development is based on SIGMA's technological infrastructure and consolidated standards in research management, which guarantees a robust, interoperable platform ready to evolve.

With this evolution, Universitat Pompeu Fabra improves its digital research tools, moving towards a more efficient, connected model oriented to the real use of scientific information.
