Unidigital Programme
2021

SIGMA as an in-house provider
Unidigital is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Universities to drive the digital transformation of the Spanish university system through a coordinated approach with structural reach. The program aims to strengthen universities' digital capabilities, improve their processes and facilitate the connection between academic activity, management and technology. To this end, it is structured around three main lines:
- Modernization of the university system, through the incorporation of technological, material and human resources.
- Boosting digital innovation, positioning universities as key players in the transformation of the system.
- Development of shared strategic projects, aimed at generating impact at an inter-university scale.
Within the framework of Unidigital, SIGMA acts as an in-house provider of the university system.
As a public alliance, we take on the management and execution of the program from a shared perspective, in which universities not only participate but are also actively involved in decision-making.
This model makes it possible to coordinate initiatives, optimize resources and ensure that every advance responds to the common interest of the university system.
In addition, we extend this approach to affiliated schools, facilitating their integration into the projects and guaranteeing access to a shared technological infrastructure.
